Page 1 of 1 For those seeking more understated performance in an altogether bigger vehicle than the Lancer EVO Ralliart produced a special version of the Galant, the Galant VR-4. Ralliart added two intercooled Turbochargers to the 2.5 litre V6 engine found in the stock Galant with 280bhp as a result. The Galant VR-4 is equipped with Mitsubishi's latest INVECS-II Sports Mode 5-speed Automatic Transmission which allows for normal or sports driving styles with higher rpm gear changes and the storing of shift patterns in its memory. Furthermore it features redesigned exterior bumpers, improved aerodynamics and a lower ride height for improved handling, and whilst the car is very clearly aimed at the sports-minded, it retains all of the Galant's standard luxury features with full climate control air conditioning, multi-mode keyless entry and driver and passenger airbags. The Galant's ability to swallow the family and their luggage and to transport them over long distances in supreme comfort is well known. The VR-4 provides an even more effortless high-speed performance capability. Page 1 of 1
