Page 1 of 1  At the 2002 Brussels motorshow Mercedes-Benz introduced a completely new E-Class. Like most cars in the Mercedes-Benz line-up the E-Class boasts a performance oriented 'AMG' model. The supercharged engine installed in this E55 AMG was introduced for road use in the SL55 AMG launched at the 2001 Frankfurt show. This isn't the only feature derived from the SL55 as the E55 is also equipped with Sensotronic Brake Control. The Speedshift automatic gearbox has a manual mode which allows for gears to be changed at the touch of a button on the steering wheel.Page 1 of 1 |
