Page 1 of 1 The first two Turbo Lotus, 93T and 94T, were nothing more than updated chassis originally designed for the Naturally Aspirated Cosworth DFV engine. For the 1984 season Lotus designed their first completely new chassis since the double chassis debacle in 1981. It was designed to fit the Renault engine and looked very purposeful. It was about as fast as it looked and secured a third for Lotus in the constructor's championship, their best since 1978.
It is seen here at the 2002 Goodwood Festival of Speed where it celebrated the 50th anniversary of Lotus Engineering and the return of Renault to F1. Page 1 of 1
