At a basic level it can mean Enjoyment, Environment and Extraordinary. Taken a step further it can represent the new aspect of using cubic space to create a mobile personal environment fully fitted to the demands of tomorrow's more demanding customers.

The under bonnet styling also reflects the care in choice of colours and aesthetics, extending the exterior colour to the engine bay itself. Such attention to detail has come to be expected from Hyundai. As such, in every respect the Hyundai E 3 is a valid concept car, providing insight into the advanced thinking and technology which will help shape the next generation of Hyundai cars.

With a wheelbase length of 2650mm and 4250mm overall, the E 3 is not based upon any current Hyundai platform, although the traditional MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension maintain similarities with current production cars. The 16 inch ventilated disc brakes are by Brembo and the E 3 rides on 19 inch alloy wheels.
