Page 1 of 1 When Horacio Pagani designed the original Zonda, he was inspired by his legendary countryman Juan Manuel Fangio. The five times Formula 1 World Champion even approved of the design before he died. He is now honoured with the latest version the Zonda; the 'Zonda F', referring to the racer's last name. Compared to the 'standard' Zonda, the 'F' is fitted with various performance enhancing parts. There is even a Clubsport version available for those wanting to take their carbon fibre road racer to the track.
A horsepower increase of almost 50 bhp over the 555 bhp further increases the Zonda's already stunning performance figures. In Clubsport form the Mercedes-Benz sourced V12 produces up to 650 bhp. For increased stopping power the Clubsport is fitted with carbon ceramic discs, for the first time on a Pagani.
The Zonda F will make its official debut at the 2005 Geneva Motorshow, almost ten years after Juan Manuel Fangio died at the age of 84. Page 1 of 1
