Page 1 of 1 With production strictly limited to four units, two black and two white, 'Concept 17.1' the Falen is the first product being released by design studio Dowdeswell and Hardie.
Developed over the last four years, the theory behind the design was to promote Dowdeswell and Hardie's interpretation of a non-compromising, unsystematic driving experience, and although the design has many unconventional features, it helps to produce a vehicle that the company feels is truly unique.
The design is constructed entirely on 'SolidWorks' and is set to undergo a final stage of FEA and CFD analysis, as well as simulated dynamic development.
With an overall length of 4180mm, width of 1980mm and a height of 1070mm, the vehicles planned construction consists of a full carbonfibre monocoque chassis, with cabonfibre bodywork and active rear wing.
Dowdeswell and Hardie will use predominantly British suppliers and fabrication companies, to supply the components for the vehicle, which include a confirmed Judd GV5 S2 power-unit. Page 1 of 1
