Page 1 of 1 German company Alpina used the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed to preview their upcoming B5 Bi-Turbo. Based on the new for 2010 BMW 5-Series, the four door Alpina uses a modified version of the BMW twin turbo V8 engine, which is also expected to be used for BMW's own M5. That means that for the first time, the Alpina and BMW Motorsport versions of the same model are powered by the same engine.
At Goodwood very little information about the car was released, except for what was written on the sills; 507 bhp and 191 mph. The B5 can be distinguished from the 'standard' 5-Series by a slightly deeper chin-spoiler, side skirts and a subtle wing on the tail. The car also comes equipped with the familiar multi-spoke wheels. Page 1 of 1
