A modern classic - this status was acquired by its predecessor, the Audi Cabriolet, in the nine years or so that it was in production. The long-awaited new generation also has all the makings of a cult object.

The Audi A4 Cabriolet has an electro-hydraulically operated hood with a heated glass rear window as standard equipment. Outstanding acoustic insulation and excellent suitability for winter conditions are attributes that can be taken for granted on an Audi Cabriolet hood. Another aspect that can be taken for granted is the outstanding material quality and finish of the interior. The sporty but elegant interior design, perfectly matched to the dynamic styling of the exterior, gives the entire Audi A4 Cabriolet a harmonious overall impression. There's no doubt that the new Audi A4 Cabriolet is the emotional spearhead of a sporty model series.

A pleasure that can be enjoyed in particular with the two six-cylinder engines available from launch. They are notable for their sporty sound, powerful low-end torque and outstanding refinement - a combination that is extremely popular, especially with drivers of convertibles. The Audi A4 Cabriolet introduces a brand new dimension to transmission technology, unique in the convertible segment, in the form of the continuously variable multitronic. This transmission offers the dynamic qualities of a manual gearbox and surpasses the comfort of a conventional automatic. However, the new A4 Cabriolet does not just display its distinctly sporty talents in the discipline of driveline. Maximum agility and therefore sheer driving pleasure are also guaranteed by the car's aluminium lightweight suspension, based on the much-praised axle design of the new A4 generation. This distinctly dynamic performance is complemented by the high torsional rigidity of the Cabriolet body. The most important consequence of this characteristic is a level of vibrational comfort that makes the A4 Cabriolet the new benchmark in its class.
