Page 1 of 1 Alfa Romeo entered three of their Grand Prix car derived 8C 2900As in the 1936 Mille Miglia. The featured car was driven by Brivio and Ongaro The pairing had a comfortable lead of 14 minutes when in the closing evening stages of the event the lights failed. Brivio however managed to finish first, with a lead of only 32 seconds. The other two 8C 2900A entries filled the rest of the podium, a clean sweep for Alfa Romeo.
