Click here to download printer friendly versionAlfa Romeo entered three of their Grand Prix car derived 8C 2900As in the 1936 Mille Miglia. The featured car was driven by Brivio and Ongaro The pairing had a comfortable lead of 14 minutes when in the closing evening stages of the event the lights failed. Brivio however managed to finish first, with a lead of only 32 seconds. The other two 8C 2900A entries filled the rest of the podium, a clean sweep for Alfa Romeo.

The winning car is seen here in the Musee National d'Automobile in Mulhouse, France.
