Completed in 1956 but not road registered until September 1958, this Ghia bodied 1900C SS is believed to be a unique car. Apart from it having been shown at the Concorso d'Eleganza Autovettura Campione d'Italia, there is little known about its early history. There is a story that it was ordered by a gentleman for his girlfriend but that he could not take delivery after his wife found out about the affair. It resurfaced in recent years and has been shown at Villa d'Este in 2001. In 2009 it was offered at the Bonhams Retromobile Auction where offers failed to meet the reserve.
