Chassis:
The second LC2 built, chassis 0002 was raced extensively by the Martini backed factory team throughout the 1983 season with a victory in the Imola 1000 km as the highlight of the year. It was briefly pressed back into service during 1985 when it qualified on pole twice but could do no better than fourth at Spa. Following a spell in the United States, the rare LC2 was recently acquired by a British based enthusiast from New Zeeland. He had the car meticulously restored and prepared before using in the Historic Group C Championship. He is seen here in action during the Group C support race of the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans.
