Chassis:
One of several 962s sold to Bruce Leven for his Bayside Disposal Racing team, chassis 962-109 made its debut at the 1985 Daytona 24 Hours. Leven shared with Thierry Boutsen and Henri Pescarolo but failed to finish. Later in the year, with Bob Wollek behind the wheel, it won the Sears Point round. Co-driving with Paolo Barilla, Wollek also won the Miami Grand Prix with chassis 109 early in 1986. It was retired later that year but was brought out again in 1988 for a single appearance in Columbus where Klaus Ludwig placed 2nd. Still finished in the 1988 livery, it is seen here at the 2009 Monterey Historic Races where Porsche was the featured marque.
