Chassis:
The first of the four Group B specification 308 GTBs built by Michelotto, this is the only one of the quartet fitted with the two-valve engine. Nevertheless, it was also one of the most successful, winning many national Italian events during its debut season. It also won the Sicilian Championship that year. In 1984, it won a further six times on its way to the Spanish national championship. Following its retirement from contemporary racing, it has continued to compete in historic events like the Tour Auto. It has now been consigned to Bonhams' May 18th Spa Classic sale. It is estimated to change hands for EUR 550,000 - 750,000.
