Chassis:
One of the very last Porsche 962Cs built, chassis 170 was ordered new from the factory in 1991 by the Japanese Trust racing team. Upon taking delivery, the new Porsche was only used for testing and not entered in a single race. As a result, it has survived as one of the most original 962Cs in the world today. Following several years in storage, it was eventually sold to the United States. It was entrusted to Canepa Design for a rebuild to full running order. It has since been used in several historic events and is now for sale at Canepa Design.
