Completed using the running gear of the original T-10 King Cobra, this was the car sold to Mike Koslosky. He would go on to race the car in minor events with a variety of engines well into the 1969 season. At the end of the year, it was acquired by Hull Dobbs Ford in Tennessee. It sat in the dealership showroom for around a decade before it was subjected to a complete restoration. With none of the rare aluminium engines available, it was decided to fit the car with a more readily available 351 Cleveland, tuned by Jim Hall of Chaparral fame. The work took nine years to complete.
Shortly after the King Cobra was restored, it was sold Ed Cudahy. He had it prepared for historic racing and briefly campaigned it in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It later joined the massive collection of the late John O'Quinn. From his estate, it was acquired by the current owner at auction in the summer of 2010. He has had it fully restored by Virtuoso Performance to the car's 1967 configuration and livery. He also managed to track down what is believed to be the only surviving all-alloy engine. Previewed at the 2012 Monterey Motorsports Reunion, without the engine fitted, it was finally seen back in action a year later.
