Chassis:
Completed late in 1973, this B26 was entrusted to John Watson and Ian Scheckter for that season's Springbok Series. Together they won the Cape Town 500km race at Killarney. During the 1974 season, it was one of the Chevron works car and driven by the likes of John Lepp, Peter Gethin, Vern Schuppan and John Watson. In the ownership of Bob Marsland, it was later raced in the Interseries and Thundersports championships. During the 1980s, it was acquired by American historic racer Murray Smith, who had it restored to its original Springbok configuration. He campaigned the car for many years, before it was sold back to Europe in the early 2010s.
