Chassis:
Built by Matra during December of 1967, the unique MS9 was the test and development vehicle for the purpose-built MS10 F1 car. Following its sole outing at the South African Grand Prix where it started on the front row, it was not raced again. The F1 mule was eventually sold by Matra. In more recent years, it joined a formidable stable of Matra racing cars and was restored to full running order. Along with several other cars from the collection, it was displayed in the Donington Grand Prix Collection museum.
