Chassis:
One of the very first Group A 635 CSis produced, this example was one of four sold to BMW France for the national touring car championship. Liveried in Texaco colours, it also made an international appearance at the 1983 Spa 24 Hours. Driven by Thierry Boutsen, Claude Ballot-Léna and Thierry Sabine. They qualified 11th on the grid but were ultimately disqualified for receiving outside assistance. Still in French hands, it is regularly raced in historic events as part of Peter Auto's Historic Touring Car series.
