Chassis:
Completed in the summer of 1984, this is one of the very last Group A 635 CSis produced by Schnitzer. It debuted at the Spa 24 Hours, where it finished 14th after starting 28th. During the 1985 season, it was raced in the Monroe colours it still wears today. Raced by a succession of owners, its contemporary racing career lasted until the end of 1989. A fifth place finish in Brno back in 1985 with Rene Metge and Philippe Haezebrouck behind the wheel was the best result. Converted to Supertourisme specification later in its life, chassis RA2-51 was restored to Group A specification during the late 1990s. A decade later, it was properly restored to the immaculate conditions it is in today.
