Chassis:
Completed early in 1974, this Carrera RSR was delivered to its new, Italian owners Giorgio Schön and Giovanni Borri, just in time for the Monza round of the World Championship. It was actually painted the evening before the first practice of the race in the instantly recognisable green and blue livery. Schön and Borri campaign the car for three seasons, during which the livery was changed to a turquoise colour-scheme. Before the end of 1976, it was sold to Frenchman Patrick Pierron. He predominantly used it in rallies like the Rallye du Var and the Tour Corse. Following its contemporary racing career, the chassis 911 460 9074 was stored by Pierron, until he had it comprehensively restored by French Porsche specialists Garage Bourgoin between 2007 and 2009. He eventually sold the car in 2013, after a 37-year ownership. It was acquired by a British enthusiast through Maxted-Page.
