Chassis:
One of the very last Vallelungas built, this example was delivered new to a Swiss enthusiast in 1968. It remained in Switzerland for most of its life and changed hands only a couple of times before it was acquired by René Killer, the president of the Swiss DeTomaso Club, in 1996. He subsequently restored the car himself. In 2004, the completely restored Vallelunga was shown at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este where it placed second in class. It was then also featured in several publications, including leading German magazine Motor Klassik. In July of 2015, it was acquired by the current, Belgian custodian, leaving Swiss ownership for the first time since 1968.
