This was the only Chevron B8 delivered new with a 2.7 litre Coventry Climax four cylinder engine. In period this was replaced by a Cosworth engine. Shortly after the roof was chopped off and the car was converted into a 'Gropa'. The current owner had it rebuilt to its original configuration in 1995/1996. Today the car is fitted with a BMW engine. Chassis DBE-57 has been actively campaigned by the owner ever since it was restored.
