Along with parts of a second car (73C005), Dutch enthusiast Bart Loyens acquired engine 4 and associated parts from the factory in 1964. The engine was actually one of three that had suffered frost damage in the winter of 1947 and to ensure it worked properly, a new block was fitted. The current custodian acquired the parts during during the mid-1980s and it is believed that the car did not appear in public until the mid 2000s. It is fitted with a single seater body that is similar to the one fitted on 73C005. Fully functional, it was consigned to the 2016 Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed sale.
