Chassis:
The second BRM P154 built, this car was fielded in the final three rounds of the 1970 Canadian American Challenge Cup for Pedro Rodriguez. The Mexican finished on a high with a third place in the L.A. Times Grand Prix at Riverside. At the end of the year, the car was partly disassembled with some of the running gears used for the hybrid P154/167. Along with the rest of the program, chassis P154-02 was sold to David Hepworth. He focused on racing the newer P167, so the P154 was set aside. Nearly four decades later, it was finally restored to full running order by the late David Hepworth's sons Stephen and Andrew. During the rebuilt, they had the benefit of the original BRM drawings. Wearing a Pedro Rodriguez replica helmet, Stephen Hepworth drove the car in public for the first time since the 1970 L.A. Times Grand Prix at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
