Chassis:
After just three outings, the unique A9 was retired from contemporary racing. It eventually ended up in the hands of a British collector, who had it restored to full running order. The A9 was rebuilt to its original configuration, so complete with the push-rod rear suspension that was deemed to be one of its weak spots in period. In 2012, it was demonstrated at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and it later also starred at the Goodwood Members' Meeting. Early in 2017, it was offered for sale by dealer Duncan Hamilton.
