Sold new to Hong Kong, this Mk2 DB6 Volante was ordered by the chairman of the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking cooperation. It was originally finished in Silver Birch with a black Connolly leather interior. In 1974 the car was sold to the second owner through Aston Martin Lagonda ltd. and would remain in the same hands for three decades. During this period, the original automatic gearbox was replaced by a correct, ZF five-speed manual. In 2008, it was sold at auction and has since seen very little use.
