Chassis:
Completed in the spring of 1956, this car was shipped to Iceland where it was most likely delivered to an American serviceman stationed on the island. The 100M then continued its trek across the Atlantic and spent many years on the American East Coast. In 1988, it was acquired by a Swiss collector, who had the car comprehensively restored by British marque specialist JME Healeys. The fully restored car then moved to German collector Peter Groh in 1998 and soon after to another German enthusiast. It has since been used sparingly including at several rallies. In the spring of 2017, it was consigned to the Bonhams Spa Classic Sale.
