Chassis:
One of just eight Rapides built with left-hand drive, this example was shown at the 1962 New York Auto Show. The car eventually ended up in Australia and more recently was sold through The Netherlands to a Swiss collector. He has been a lifelong enthusiast of the Lagonda Rapide and already owned a very rare brochure when he was a child. Spending many years finding the right car, he eventually found the ex-New York Auto Show car to be exactly the Rapide he had searched so long for. A true enthusiast, he drove the rare Lagonda over the road to the 2017 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
