Chassis:
Ordered new by a German farmer, this 365 GT4 BB was finished in a yellow-green colour dubbed Verde Germoglio. Although more commonly used for Dinos, this is the only Ferrari of this type to be finished in this striking colour. The farmer apparently ordered the car in this colour so it would not stand out so much against his crops as a red Ferrari. In 2001, the original owner's future son-in-law came across the car in his barn. By coincidence the future son-in-law was a marque specialist and he eventually sold the car to the present, German owner in 2016. At the time of the 'discovery' the Ferrari had been painted a more common red. When the current owner acquired the car, it was undergoing a complete restoration and was already re-painted in its unique yellow-green colour. Following the completion of the work, it was shown at the 2017 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
