Chassis:
French racer Paul Belmondo acquired this Viper new and his team campaigned the car from 2000 through the 2005 season. During its first year, the car was raced in an all-yellow livery in the FIA GT championship, winning a race at the Hungaroring. Belmondo raced the car again in the FIA GT Championship during the next season and it also appeared at Le Mans. Following another full campaign in 2002, it only made singular appearances before it was retired from contemporary racing in the fall of 2005. The car was then acquired from Paul Belmondo by Luxembourg-based dealer Florent Moulin. He had the car restored to the 2002 livery as used when the car won the Silverstone round of the FIA GT Championship. Moulin then sold the car to the current owner in 2008.
