One of the Vanwalls campaigned during the 1958 season, this car was raced predominantly by Stewart Lewis-Evans. Following its contemporary racing career, it was rebuilt as a show car for Vandervell Products. When the team's assets were eventually sold to Tom Wheatcroft, it joined the Donington Grand Prix Collection. It has more recently been restored to full running order by specialists Hall & Hall.
