Chassis:
Ready for the penultimate round of the 1993 Wesbank Modified Series (WMS) at Killarney, this is the first of two S4 GTOs built. It was raced to a double victory by Hans-Joachim Stuck at its debut. It then formed part of the two-car factory efforts that saw Terry Moss and Chris Aberdein dominate the 1993 WMS. After the S4 GTO was rendered obsolete, it was acquired by Ashley Landman. He retained the livery but removed the Rothmans branding and continued to campaign the car in minor events at Killarney in Cape Town from 1995 through to 1998. It was then acquired by the late Steve Zlotkin, who was a great Audi enthusiast and also owned a 200 TransAm car. Following his untimely passing, the car was acquired by a British enthusiast and it crossed the Atlantic in the spring of 2017. Prepared by Hansport, it was then demonstrated that summer by Stuck at the Shelsley Walsh hill-climb and by Aberdein at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
