Registered 3 LMD, this is the unique Arnott that raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1957. Following its retirement from contemporary racing, it was retained by Daphne Arnott for many years. She eventually sold the car in 1983 to Terry Mansfield. The next owner was John Michael Pritchard from London and it was then sold to American collector Dr. Greg Johnson in 1998. He had the car restored by British car specialist Greg Perry. Sold on in 2016, it was then shown and run at several events on the American West Coast before it was consigned to the 2017 Gooding Pebble Beach Auctions.
