J. C. Bamford of excavators fame acquired this Series 2 Lotus 30 for Trevor Taylor and Peter Sadler in 1965. It is believed to have been one of the original works cars and raced by Jim Clark at Silverstone in March 1965. Repainted in the familiar 'JCB yellow' it was campaigned in many of the major events during 1965 and 1966. In recent the car was meticulously restored by Classic Team Lotus. Chassis 30/S2/9 was subsequently raced at various events including several editions of the Goodwood Revival.
