Chassis:
Built in January 1990 for that year's 24 Hours of Le Mans, the featured XJR-12 (J12-C-190) was subsequently raced with considerable success for several years on both sides of the Atlantic. After its racing career, it was retained by TWR and displayed in the company museum. Tom Walkinshaw was eventually forced to sell his cars after the 2003 bankruptcy of TWR. The new owner of this XJR-12 became Jaguar preparation expert Don Law and has since been campaigned by his very quick son Justin Law, who set some blistering times with the car during several editions of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. During the mid-2010s, it was acquired by a fellow British historic racer and collector. He had the car prepared by specialists Moto Historics and raced it twice during the 2017 season. It has since changed hands twice and is today part of a prominent French collection. In his first outing with the car, at the 2021 Estoril Classics, the latest custodian won both Group C races.
