Brandone

Having learned the trade at Billeter & Cartier in Lyon, France, Etienne Brandone established his own firm on the French Cote d'Azur in the 1930s. Assisted by his son Pierre, Brandone specialised in highly exclusive open bodies. Most of the creations to come out of the Brandone shop were one-offs. Among the cars bodied by Brandone were Alfa Romeos, Voisins, Rolls-Royces and Hispano Suizas. Brandone's creations were highly regarded in their day and were successful in contemporary concours d'elegance. Only very few examples have survived.
