Regardless of what is thought to be known, the GTZ was purchased from Australia in 1995 for USD 125,000 and shipped to the United States. I personally picked the car up from the Port of Entry in Long Beach Ca. and trailered it back to Norman Ok. The car was painted Red and was Left Hand drive. I had the pleasure of driving the GTZ and it was,(like all Lamborghini's) an amazing car. It was destined to be on exhibit at the then coming International Lamborghini Museum in Norman Ok. There's a lot more to this story if anyone is interested. my email is [email protected]

Dear Wouter,
For many years the car was in Australia and all during that time it was right hand drive.
It was sold overseas in "the ninties" when I assume it was converted to left hand drive.

This is a very simple and attractive design. It is very recognizable and well proportioned but looks just a bit KIT-CAR-ish from the rear. I'd love to own one because it looks like one of those underpowered British cars but in reality the v12 makes it a sleeper!
