Francis Costin and the 23? Wasn't he done with Lotus by that time and on to his own adventures? Need to check that "Designed by" claim up there. Regards, WinstonsmitH |

- can't help mentioning that the Cosworth BDA engine was never offered by Lotus Components for this car. I'm sure it was fitted by privates post 1970, but the Lotus Ford TwinCam was the "wildest" engine fitted as "standard". ( - in the 23B) The spec showed, is also for the "Twink", as the BDA was of course a 16 valve engine, with a std. rated capacity of 1601 ccm. ( - infact measuring 1599...... ) Dag |
