Beautiful, but... |

This is a beautiful car. The shape and design are very retro, yet modern. I had saved up enough money to purchase one, but decided against it for one reason (and one reason only) -- it doesn't come with a manual transmission. I ended up purchasing an Aston Martin Vantage instead. I think Maserati will lose some audience for the lack of a manual transmission. It just doesn't make sense. For me, a Maserati without a manual transmission is like an airplane without wings -- it just doesn't work! |

... not too sure about the seats though, anyone else thinking 70s US Musclecar? And it is a shame that they had to build it as an Alfa Romeo first. Still, at least it'll now go the way a Maserati should; too bad they can't seem to be bothered to do a manual version. This though, is really very close to the car I've been waiting for Maserati to make since the Shamal went out of production. |
