Hekotr, the DS5 is based on the Peugeot 3008/5008 platform and is a stylistic development of the Sportslounge, a concept from about five years ago. The car has no C6 mechanicals at all, no V6 HDI engine, no hydropneumatic suspension. The latter is the biggest disappointment of the car, but perhaps they will do something about that. |

Disappointment. The styling is just that. It is not a design consistent with the original functional Citroën DS. The �5� is a styling exercise in eccentricity, while the mechanicals are a carryover from the less quirky C6! Was Chris Bangle the stylist? |
