 The Alfa Romeo 4C is a car with a new carbon-fibre chassis with two aluminum (front and rear) sub-frames while the bodywork is made of composite and plastic materials (Sheet Moulding Compound and injected poliuretan). It has an innovative in-line four cylinder engine, with a new aluminum block, ultra-high pressure direct injection, a new-generation turbocharger, double continuous variable valve timing and a revolutionary scavenging system that eliminates turbo lag. The engine itself develops 240 bhp at 6000 rpm and has a higher torque output of 350 Nm between 2100 and 4250 rpm. This car is also equipped with a six-speed twin-clutch gearbox with a brand new Alfa DNA system with four settings: Dynamic, Natural, All Weather and the Race mode.
