Livered in red with two white stripes |
Meanwood 06-15-2013 |
I can't find any reference to T86C being liveried in red with 2 white stripes until it was in the United States in the 1980's. Can anyone point me at the source information for this? When it was purchased from the factory in 1969, it was green with 2 white stripes (according to the sale details from the Cooper works) and competed in Formula 5000 liveried that way in 1970 (plenty of images). Why would the works respray the rolling chassis when it was not to be used, no engine or gearbox. |
