There has never been a sound in motorsport anything like this. This sound can give you goosebumbs even listening to it your computer turned up!! Imagine what this monster would sound like in real life. I would love nothing more than that however being a 17 year old living in Scotland there's not really a chance of that happening. It's amazing that almost 6 decades later -despite all modern tech- that we can't make a car sound as glorious as the BRM.

Absolutely the most fantastic sounding engine ever, has a tremendous howl on full load, unfortunately only heard it with a misfire at 9500rpm which then clears through to 12000rpm, hard to believe the tiny capacity produces such an evocative sound.

I was at the British Grand Prix 1952, saw and listened to the faboulus car. The sound is still in my ears. Gunnar Sweden

THE best sounding car ever made FULL STOP.If you heard it you cant believe its a 1.5 ltr. Listen to it on the cd from the `into the red` book by mark hales and nick mason(from pink floyd.) Shame it was so unreliable though. In the tests for that cd it completed only 1 clean lap apparently without cutting out! Mechanical nightmare but a treat for the ears.
