BMW M5 Vs M6
A article in this month's Road & Track magazine led to a dispute between me and my brother. The aricle is not up on the R&T site yet, and i cant be bvothered with scaning all 6 pages of it.
But my question to you all is this: Which, of these too cars would you prefer?
Allthoughj one is coupe and the other a saloon, they have surprisingly simillar performance, dimensions and equally contreversial style.
Specs follow bellow, and this nice gallery of both cars will help you make your choice.

m5 easily
cheaper, more doors, more space, same mechanicals
-
I like the M6 more because there are too many 525s out on the road. At least 645s are more rare. The common person would not be able to tell out a 525 from an M5. However, this question is more of a personal preference.
-
M5 without hesitation.
both are awsome cars, but the M5 is by far more beautifull .
-
M5. Because it's an amazing car, and I don't like he M6.
-
M6. Carbon Fibre Roof. you kiddin?
-
i also pick the M5.
allthough i was expecting you all to pick the M6...
-
M6. Ten seconds on the track Mutha****a!
-
I'd actually take the M6 in this case... although I'm a big fan of the M5, the M6 is just THAT much cooler... its just such an amazing machine... you get M5 performance, but in a GT config... but if you'd ask me if I'd take the M6 vs. a Dinan tuned E39 M5, then I'd probably change my answer...
M6. Carbon Fibre Roof. you kiddin?
It's the same feature as by M3 CSL
-
Well the M6 is marginally quicker in a drag, but I'd still pick the M5. Its the best in its class, plus transport twice the number of people vs the M6. And anyway, would get a 911 before I ever thought about getting an M6...
-
BMW M6...it's a lot sexier and sporty.
-
If your that interested...I posted a video of a drag between these two a while back...
-
M5...Bigger & more practical...not that much slower..
And it looks sooo much better.
This car will forever be pointless until the Porsche 911 goes away...which won't be very soon.

The M5 has those chinky rice burner headlights though. The M6 will also be rarer, making it more exclusive. Every one is entitled to their own opinion though.
