Koenigsegg Agera R
Last Sat., we went to Cars & Coffee in Aliso Viejo, which is south Orange County for those of you not familiar with So. Cal. It was a good turn out as the Newport Beach crowd was there. One car in particular caught everyone's attention, because we had not seen one in the flesh, uh, 'carbon fiber' as of yet. Well, it truly stole the show. It was a Koenigsegg Agera R, and as 'Hyper Cars' go they are quite unique. It was very impressive. Since then I have re-acquainted my self with their specifications and accomplishments i.e., 0-300-0 kph in 17.95 seconds. This is rumored to be the only one that has passed Federal regs. and can be driven legally on the street in the USA. There were numerous McLarens all around it, and no one paid any mind to them. The south county crowd is a very 'Jaded' group. My daughter-in-law says it reminded her of the Batmobile. List price is in excess of $2 million.

Oh, my gosh. That is a big spree.

Just saw an article about its impressive speed of 277.9mph.

Yes, I think you're talking about this article/video.

I think it's super impressive to see how hard it pulls after it hits 100 mph and it doesn't look like it wants to stop until just about 250. I feel like by the time it hits 270 mph, most airplanes would have lifted off already.
I bet you the Buggati Chiron owners/engineers are super pissed off about this.

Whatever, I love DATA, DATA's good. Thanks for the edit and the video.

It just pootles up to 300km/h like it's nothing, people accelerate harder when merging into highways! Then bam winds in full boost and just keeps going..

:) It is not a car... It is a warplane!
