Hi Welcome back, what's the plan with the A112?
-
Looks like some good work you've done on the car! Keep it up, can't wait to see the end result :)
-
I bought the A112 Abarth and will use this engine eventually. This is a 1050cc 70HP engine. Now I have a 903cc with almost 50hp.
The A112 chassis is now gone to the junkyard.
Now I am busy with sanding and filling:o
But it is already running, rolling and it brakes too;)

I guess the A112 engine makes a more friendly daily driver...

The A112 engine has a stronger crank, harder material. It will allow higher torque and rpm. So it is better for tuning.

Nice! Are you going red, yellow... or this? :D

I know that car, that one is the real thing. I thought it was for sale. Asking price over 50.000 euros.
But it has the 8 port Radiale cylinder head, that is very rare. Vintage original seats. Nice and fast car!
-
Here is an Abarth-friend of mine, who finished his TC last year. It is in dutch, but there are mainly pictures

It's the radiale engine that makes it worth the asking price, the seats too. It was owned by a friend who sold it on before I even knew about it, $80,000. As I have mainly Porsches he didn't think I'd be interested. The new owner doesn't use it enough unfortunately... when those photos were taken it hadn't been run in weeks and they didn't bleed the cooling system correctly, so it was overheating. If he had let us do it (he was sharing our paddock) I woulda been happy to swap cars for a session! :D
Your friend's Team Sony TC is very nice, I've visited his site before. Some day I'd like to own and race one of these... maybe when the car above becomes available again. ;)
-
And because it is original Abarth, mine not:( . It is a waste that such a car isn't used.
That website is mine;) but what kind of Porsche do you own?
My father's 993 S

Very nice... have been thinking about getting a 993 and back-dating it. We have several vintage Porsches: 911 Targa, 911S, 356S and 914-6s.
-
Whattya think of the 996/997s csl?
Of your stable, which modern car gets the most use anyhoo?
-
You see that in Holland quit often, People buy a 993, 964 or 3.2 911 and backdate it to an '73 RS. I like the aircooled Porsches the most. The first watercooled 3.4 and 3.6 engines are rubbish.
