1970 Can Am
While Scanning my Photographs onto my hard drive I came across this one, and thought some of you might be interested in it. It was a very unique Can Am car with an unusual streamlined body. The Chassis was Lola and it was Chevy powered. It was raced by the Schkee Team and driven by Tom Klausler. The picture is from the 1970 Times Grand Prix at Riverside Raceway, Riverside CA.

Thanks for that picture. Are you sure that it was not 1977. The Schkee ran in the second incarnation of Can-Am and is based on a Lola F5000.

You know I'm not in the mood to dispute your chronology. It has been a long time, and I could be off a few years. I had figured they bulldozed Riverside by then, but maybe not. After this long, all events begin to run together.

Sorry C4 but I've found evidence supporting Wouter, the cars are listed in numerical order. Interestingly, there is no 38 listed anywhere on the entry list, is that a McKee?
