My Alpine is an A610 - there are pictures of it elsewhere on the site, a searhc will find it. I'm trying to negotiate an exchange for an A110 Grp IV, but the owners holding out for lots of cash as well :-9

He did NZ twice and Oz once. Possum used to hire the Quattro and it didn't cost a lot more to ship out another car and run it himself. Sadly he rolled his own car EVERY time ! Just not enough practice on the surface ! So he's wary now.

Another mate is heading off for classic Australia rally soon in his MGB. Am trying to persude the driver I navigate for in post-historic to plan for it with our own MGB GT :-) Funds and sponsorship are REALLY difficult to get together in the UK just now. I've added pics of the MGB in a recent rally. Along with some nice artistic post-historic collection at one of the Stage entries....

Possum are you refering to the late rally champion or someone else?
Hmm nice pics too Have a look around the race reports on the adelade rally and other event if there are any i think youd be interested in the cars that they enter in these competitions in this years adelade rally they even enterd a genuine GT40! and i think youd beinterested in the Ford perana Capri (south african capri with small block windosr v8)
also out of curiosity how much would a good cosworth sierra set a person back nowdays?

    Split allegience now.......

I have to say this is my current favourite rally car ( or my driver beats me up ).

BTW, that's me in the nav seat and driver standing in other shot.

We came 6th in class, not bad considering we just rebushed and rebuilt the rear suspension the night before the event.

btw, one of the stages and 2 regularity legs were in pitch dark.

PS: My favourite is STILL the A110 sorry, Iain !!!!

If you like the classic 70s rally cars then look out for the BBC Scotland Killarney Historic Stage Rally report. Brilliant 30 minutes of TV coverage of these cars on thelimit over some of the classic stages in Ireland.

There's a video clip of an Escort rolling and an interview with the Irish navigator.
My driver's thinking of dumping me
Watch the clip and you'll maybe know why

The Lancia Stratos is definately my favorite rally car, old Ford Escorts, the turbo Audis from the 80's, and the Porsche 959 are also pretty cool.

Hmm, yes, the Stratos, Beautiful sound and looks. Seen on the RAC Rally when it used to be British and not just Wales.

For the Audi lovers, here's a couple of pics of brother in action when he owned the Audi team ....

Oh this is a really tough choice, but I would love to find a dvd or cassette that has information and video footage of group B rallying.

My favorite would have to be the Lancia Delta Integrale. Awesome.
Taking in donations for a Lancia Delta Integrale, please be considerate of a fellow forum member....:)
