that would be certaintly very quick
it could be guick, although it could use 20tons of CF, then in that case it would be slow if it was the size of a go kart!!! wow!!!. good ideas tho.
Nah! LOL with carbon fiber and a good chassis enginering it would be great, realy light hehe, a rocket, probably something like a Radical? i just wouldn´t want the padle gear box, i preffer a sequential stickOriginally Posted by 85RX7

my thoughts would be that it would be very instable at highspeeds unless a really good arodynamic design was achived
being say??? 600kg at 200mph is not a good mix for such a small car, i would say it would be very unstable and scary to drive at them speeds

As you say with the right aero package this thing can way the equvalent of 2000kg at 200 so woulnd't be an issue.Originally Posted by paul

Now for the cost. Carbon fiber body/chasis is going to set you back at least a $100,000.
that would be fast, but at that scale using aluminum would be much cheaper and would be just as strong
That's too much! 5000 to 10000 could cover it where i usually work fibers.Originally Posted by NAZCA C2

I think it would be cool, but it will cost very much
FORZA, VODKA, CHIX!
making a chassis outta cf is gonna be a bitch, and the weight savings aint that huge on a scale like that
just use aluminum spaceframe and plastica panels to reduce drag
its a much better setup trust me
you going to put your thought into practice. Or send your idea to jaguar, They ar going down the pan recently IMO
