American Beauty, Life is Beautiful, and Requiem for a Dream - hard-hitting dramas that left me with an uneasy pit in my stomach after they were over, which is hard to do. And Life is Beautiful had one of the most moving stories and morals of any movie I've seen. GREAT pieces of art, what movies were meant to be.

Lola Rennt (Run Lola Run) - A great movie to just be entertained by, and one of the best soundtracks I've heard in any movie anywhere.

Honorable mention: American History X - another hard hitting drama in the same vein as American Beauty and Requiem. Not quite as good, but still a very solid movie that's a damn sight better than average.

Requiem for a dream! Some movie that was. I watched it at cinema and after the credits ended people were still sitting on their seats and nobody said a word for about 10 minutes. But on the other hand I 'd rather not to have to watch this movie again.

ROFL .. that sounds ace. I did a movie with some friends recently which has a monty python feel to it. We blatently stole the scene where you see the knight running towards the castle in the distance then he suddenly pops up close up. The weapon this time was a crumpet <sigh>. I also had a laugh doing some Python styled animations .. it was an ass having to edit each frame (about 200 frames for this 3 second animation). The product was insane though .. if i get the time ill host it somewhere and post the link.

Coming to America - just a good movie.
    Die Hard 1 and 3 - 1 and 3 were awesome, 2 sucked *****.
    Fist of the ledgend
Full Metal Jacket - ALl i have to say is this movie is moving. It really makes you think, consider.
Glory - If you havent seen it then.. well.. see it. Its an awesome civil war movie. (the war is always something ive been interested in.)
Groundhog day - so funny, i love that song.
Kill Bill - /obsessed with kung fu movies....
Ledgend of the Drunken Master - His mom's so funny...lol
LOTR - its arguably the best (not best of a genre, like jay and silent bob, just over all best in all catagories) trilogy i've ever seen.
Pulp Fiction - Surly not afraid of attempting something new... great story and i really like the way it was made. There are parts that are disgusting (yea...) and parts that are hilarious.
Raiders of the lost ark - I just like it...
Reseviour Dogs - I couldnt explain why, but i love this movie.
Scarface - IMO its one of the best best drug movie out there, blow might take the cake... BTW: I liked it a lot more before it became a MTV-Cribs clame to fame.
Shrek 1&2 - I guess its not my favorite but it sure as hell cracked me up.
Starwars 1,2...4,5,6 All excelant movies, if theres some series of movies better than LOTR its star wars. Genius.
    The Big Boss
The Matricies - 1,2,3 are all amazing. 1 and 2 tie for the best. 3 wasnt BAD
The Princess Bride - Farking hilarious.
The Three Amigos - LOL - THE SINGING BUSH!!! HAHHAHHHHAHAHAH
Thriller (michael jackson music video) - IMO its long enough to be a movie. . Anyway, great song and video, gotta love it.
War Games - One of my favorites from the 80s. Im somewhat geeky like him so im especialy taken in by it.
Wayne's World 1&2 - My god, if your bord this is the only way to go.
